Applewood Can Build & Maintain Trails

Having trails on your property opens up your land for activities such as hunting, cross-country skiing, hiking, timber harvesting, and maple syrup collection.

Once you have a trail design in mind, we are happy to come out and take a look! 

Wet areas are often not suitable for year-round trails. Also, there are DNR restrictions on what type of trails you can build.  Also, trails that will primarily be used in the winter are much easier to build than year-round trails.

Our trail-building equipment consists of a tracked loader with various attachments and a small bulldozer. In our area, there are many rocks. Therefore, we dig or doze out rocks and stumps. 

At this time, we do not run a forestry mulcher. If you are looking to build a trail where the soil is not rocky, we can help you find someone with a forestry mulcher so you can explore that construction technique as well.
